The Bible reminds us of this in Philippians 4:11-12, where Paul writes, "I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need."
This child, with just two words, echoes this biblical wisdom. To be content is to trust that God has given us all that we need for this moment. It's a call to be satisfied, to stop searching for more, and to rest in the peace that God provides.

This child's list is more than a to-do list. It reflects a heart aligned with simple truths that we often complicate. God's desire for us is not to live in constant busyness or endless pursuit of worldly success. Instead, He asks us to slow down, embrace joy, be kind, and trust in Him.
So, as you consider your own priorities, take a lesson from this wise 8-year-old: Be weird, be kind, and most importantly, be content. These are the things that matter most to God, and when we live with these priorities, we experience a peace that surpasses all understanding.
Keep it simple, keep it joyful, and keep your heart focused on what truly matters.
